Well…..four botched surgeries after tearing both Achilles tendons within 5 days left me with a distinct limp, lumps on my ankles, lack of any sort of decent balance and all sorts of varied pain and discomfort in my feet and ankles. When I saw the ad for Miami Beach Foot and Ankle, I tore it out and looked at it for about 3 months until my wife said one day – “ what have you got to lose “?

So, I made the call, flew to Miami and can honestly say it was one of the best decisions that I have made in my life. It would take a book to go through the whole process, the care, the consideration and the resultant lifetime relationship – but suffice it to say, this was, this is – and as long as Alison Guyen is still there, this always will be – the best, the most caring, the most competent medical practice I have ever been exposed to. Everyone – and I mean, everyone – there understands that their patients are their customers and their best sales people, and they act and respond accordingly throughout every facet of the care they give. By the way, Doc Guyen is a ( hugely caring ) medical genius. She did things 5 other “ specialists “ told me could not be done….she made a difference, in some cases significant, where many others had scoffed at any chance. She treated me with prp, stem cell treatments and with a major surgery ( about 18 inches up the back of my leg which today – 18 months later – is barely visible ). She had me walking in 3 weeks…..she pushed me to achieve in the most positive way that no other surgeon had come close to ( for the most part, they all act like they are doing you a favor ). I had resigned to living the way I was before I saw her for the rest of my life; she couldn’t give me new ankles, feet and Achilles – but she did more than anyone else could even think of, and she hugely improved my quality of life. If you have ANY doubt about going to see her and the team at Miami Beach Foot and Ankle – DON’T. You will never regret it.
